The Little Libraries

Clinton & Central Huron are proud to introduce 4 NEW Little Libraries throughout the community! These small, weather-protected book boxes are open to everyone who would like a FREE book. Whether you’re looking for your next great read or have books you’d like to share, the Little Libraries are here for you.

This project was completed with thanks to the support from Huron County Library and CHSS. Our students in the construction class built the sturdy little libraries and art students painted them beautifully. Thank you to everyone in our community for your support!

The Little Library Locations

Come find our little libraries at:

  • Balls Bridge – 38199 Little Lakes Rd, Goderich
  • Community Centre – 239 Bill Fleming Dr, Clinton
  • Dog Park – 333 Beech St, Clinton
  • Sloman Railcar Museum – 20-102 Victoria Terrace, Clinton

We’ve chosen each destination with careful consideration of who is visiting and when so that everyone gets the chance to participate in this wonderful project.

How The Little Libraries Work

  • Browse: Stop by anytime to take a book for free.
  • Share: Drop off a book you’ve enjoyed so someone else can discover it.
  • Connect: It’s a simple way to build community, spark curiosity, and share the joy of reading.

Now get out there and read, Huron County!
